Peak Oil and Climate Change: Two Sides of the Same Coin or Competing Crisis?
Part of the Necessary Vision series, Peak oil and climate change will be presented by Bryn Davidson, a specialist in sustainable urban development. Oil and climate change represent unprecedented global challenges whose economic, environmental and political impacts are intertwined and often divisive.

Join a panel of local advocates seeking common ground, define differences and set priorities for action. Admission is free.

Manufactured Landscapes
Part of the Necessary Vision series, Manufactured Landscapes will be presented by Edward Burtynsky, who is internationally acclaimed for his large-scale photographs of nature transformed by industry. Manufactured Landscapes - a stunning documentary by award winning director Jennifer Baichwal - follows Burtynsky to China, as he captures the effects of the country’s massive industrial revolution featuring the Three Gorges Dam, factory floors a kilometre long and the breathtaking scale of Shanghai’s urban renewal. This remarkable film leads us to examine human impact on the planet. Admission is free.
